Let me be honest with you upfront. Conferences
I do not travel for conferences unless I am absolutely convinced the return justifies the investment. My time is my most limited resource โ and as someone who has been building affiliate businesses and digital operations in India for years now, I have learned to be ruthless about where I spend it.
So when I tell you that I am flying to Dubai this March for Affiliate World โ happening on March 4โ5, 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Center โ I want you to understand that this is not a casual decision.
It is a deliberate one. And I want to tell you exactly why I am going, what I am hoping to solve, and what the last time I attended delivered for Twinstrata in ways I did not fully expect.

ToggleFirst โ What Even Is This Event?
Because I get asked this a lot by people in the Indian affiliate and digital marketing space who have heard the name but never really looked into it.

Affiliate World is widely considered the world’s number one performance marketing conference. Neil Patel calls it the only absolutely must-attend event in the industry. That is a strong claim, but after attending multiple times, I completely agree with it. The room they build is unlike anything else in this space.
Here is what the 2026 edition looks like by the numbers:
- 7,000+ attendees from over 110 countries
- 35+ speakers across two stages โ all active operators, not just thought leaders
- 300+ exhibitors โ advertisers, traffic sources, affiliate networks, ad platforms
- 160+ advertisers and 60+ traffic sources all in one exhibition hall
- Over 20 hours of mastermind-level content across the two days
- Dedicated niche Tracks โ Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Native Ads, Ecommerce Ads, AI Track, and Influencer Marketing โ all included in your ticket
This is not a listen-and-take-notes event. It is a do-business, have-real-conversations, change-your-thinking event. The energy is different from anything I have attended in India or elsewhere in Asia. It is the most concentrated room of people who are actively earning from performance marketing that exists in the world โ and they are all in Dubai for 48 hours.
What Last Time Actually Did for Twinstrata
I want to talk about this specifically because I think the generic “conferences are great for networking” line does not actually tell you anything useful.
The last time I attended Affiliate World Dubai, I went in with a clear problem. At Twinstrata, we had built solid affiliate content operations โ strong SEO foundations, decent conversion rates, reliable organic traffic. But our paid traffic strategy was inconsistent at best. We were running Google Ads with mixed results, had barely touched Meta campaigns seriously, and had no real TikTok presence from a paid perspective.
I sat through a session on Google Ads campaign architecture that completely rearranged the way I was thinking about structure and bidding. It was not theoretical โ the speaker walked through actual account decisions, actual numbers, actual mistakes they made and corrected. That is the thing about Affiliate World talks. They do not give you the sanitised version. They go deep.
But the moment that genuinely changed something for Twinstrata did not happen on stage. It happened in a 20-minute conversation at the exhibition floor with someone running affiliate SaaS review content in a completely different niche to mine. We compared notes on content upgrade cycles, internal linking for affiliate pages, and how they were structuring their tool review content to hold rankings through Google updates. I came back, applied three things from that conversation within a month, and saw measurable ranking improvements on pages we had been struggling with.
That is the value of this event in one example. A conversation you could not have planned for, with someone you would never have met otherwise, that solves a problem you have been sitting with for months.
What Is Actually Happening at AW Dubai 2026 โ A Breakdown
Here is the content lineup I am paying closest attention to this year.

On the main stage:
Maor “The Wolf” Benaim is presenting on Control and Scale in Meta’s New AI Era. This is the one I am most personally invested in. Meta’s ad ecosystem has changed more in the past 18 months than in the previous five years combined. The AI-assisted buying tools, the Advantage+ shift, the way creative testing works now โ it is a completely different game. Maor is one of the sharpest Meta operators alive and I want to hear how someone at his level is adapting.
Ashley Wright is presenting How to Build a $1M/Month TikTok Shop Channel Without Burning Cash. TikTok Shop is something I have been watching closely from an affiliate angle and have not moved on fast enough. I want to understand the full system โ not just “make videos and add affiliate links” but the actual infrastructure behind scalable GMV. This talk is going to push me to make a decision one way or the other.
Marin Itvani is covering Andromeda Optimization: The New Rules for Explosive Growth on Facebook. Facebook’s algorithm keeps evolving and the operators who understand the new rules early are the ones who scale while everyone else complains about rising CPMs. I want to be in the first group.
Carmen Muley is presenting The Real TikTok Shop Playbook: The Affiliate System Behind Scalable GMV โ a different angle on TikTok Shop from the affiliate operations side specifically. Two TikTok talks at this event is not a coincidence. The platform is mature enough now that serious operators are building real systems on it.
Olga Maksimuk is addressing Top 5 Myths About Google Ads: Policy, Product and Scaling. The myths around Google Ads cost Indian affiliate operators real money every month. I am going in with specific misconceptions I want dismantled.
The Niche Tracks โ and Why You Should Not Skip These:
This is honestly the most underutilised part of the conference for first-timers. The tracks are free with your ticket and they are organised as back-to-back sessions on a single vertical. This year:
- Meta Ads Track
- Google Ads Track
- TikTok Ads Track
- Native Ads Track
- Ecommerce Ads Track
- AI Track โ this one is entirely new this year
- Influencer Marketing Track
The AI Track is where I am spending serious time. Not because AI is a buzzword I want to follow โ but because the gap between how most affiliate operators in India are using AI tools and how the top 5% of global operators are using them is enormous.
I want to close that gap for Twinstrata. I want to see who is using AI in media buying, campaign analysis, creative production, and affiliate content operations at a level that is actually generating better numbers โ not just faster output.
The Mixers:
Every day has dedicated one-hour mixers organised by niche. This year: Meta Ads Mixer, Google Mixer, AI Mixer, and TikTok Ads Mixer. I am going to the AI Mixer specifically. Not to pitch anyone. Not to hand out business cards. To have real, unfiltered conversations with people who are doing things I have not tried yet. Those conversations โ where someone says “we tested that, it did not work, but this did” โ are worth more than any talk on stage.
The Real Struggles I See in the Affiliate and Performance Marketing Community Right Now
I spend a lot of time in communities on Reddit and X, talking to operators across Asia and globally. The problems I keep seeing come up again and again are not vague โ they are specific:
“My Google ranking strategy stopped working after the last core update and I have no idea what changed” โ The Google Ads and SEO conversations at AW directly address this.
“I am spending on paid traffic but my ROAS keeps dropping and I do not know if it is the creative, the offer, or the targeting” โ Three separate talks at AW this year tackle exactly this problem from different angles.
“TikTok Shop looks like a real opportunity but I have no framework for approaching it” โ Two dedicated sessions and a full TikTok track give you that framework in two days.
“I feel isolated โ I do not have peers around me who understand what I am trying to build” โ This is the most common thing I hear from Indian affiliate operators. AW puts 7,000 serious operators in one building. The isolation problem gets solved the moment you walk through the door.
“I go to events and waste time because I do not know how to network properly” โ The AW app lets you connect with attendees and schedule meetings before you even land in Dubai. I start using it two weeks before the event.
Who Should Actually Attend โ Be Honest With Yourself
Affiliate World is not for everyone and I will not pretend otherwise.
If you are brand new to affiliate marketing with no live income yet โ build first. The ticket is $1,429 for the affiliate tier (sale price) and $2,299 for company tickets. Add flights and Dubai accommodation and you are looking at a real investment. That money is better spent on your first campaigns and tools if you are still finding your footing.
But if you are someone who is already operating โ making income from affiliate or performance marketing, running any kind of paid traffic, building content properties, managing a small team or agency โ this event pays for itself in ways that are hard to fully predict in advance but consistently real after the fact.
The people who get the most from AW Dubai are affiliate operators who are scaling and hitting specific walls, media buyers who want to level up their thinking on at least one major traffic source, agency owners and SaaS founders who need to understand where the performance marketing industry is actually heading, and anyone who feels like they have been building in isolation and needs the perspective that only comes from being around people operating at a higher level than you currently are.
What I Am Going There to Specifically Accomplish
I am going into March 4โ5 with clear goals, not vague intentions.
I want to walk out with a concrete framework for Meta Ads in the AI era that I can immediately test with Twinstrata’s current campaigns. Maor’s session is the anchor for this but the conversations I have in the Meta Ads Mixer will shape how I apply it.
I want to make a clear decision about TikTok Shop as an affiliate channel โ whether to build it seriously this year or consciously set it aside. The two TikTok talks and the TikTok Track will give me enough information to stop sitting on this.
I want to find at least two people in the AI Track who are using AI in affiliate content operations in ways I have not explored yet. Not to copy what they are doing โ but to stress-test whether my current approach at Twinstrata is missing something obvious.
And honestly โ I want the energy reset that only comes from being around 7,000 people who care as deeply about this industry as I do.
Building a digital business in India can be a solitary experience. Two days in that room in Dubai does something to your perspective and your momentum that months of solo work cannot replicate.
One Practical Note If You Are Going for the First Time
Do not spend the whole event sitting in stage sessions. The talks are valuable but the real returns come from the exhibition floor, the mixers, and the side conversations. Come with a target list of companies you want to talk to โ the exhibitor list is published in advance.
Use the AW app to set meetings before you arrive. And take the First-Timers’ Affiliate Meetup seriously โ it is included in your ticket and it is genuinely useful for getting oriented and making early connections before the main event kicks off.
See You at Dubai World Trade Center โ March 4โ5
I am going to Affiliate World Dubai 2026 because the problems I am trying to solve at Twinstrata right now are exactly the problems that two days in that room can accelerate. That is the only real test for whether a conference is worth your time and money.
If you are going and want to connect, drop me a message. I am always happy to meet operators who are doing real work in this space.
